In May the Azkoyen Group will increase its number of branches
on the mainland by opening premises in Granada and transferring
and expanding the Valladolid branch. From May, Azkoyen
Comercial, S.A. (one of the six sales companies in the
Azkoyen Group) will have a total of 28 branches in the
various regions of Spain.
From Granada, under the management of José Antonio
Sánchez, the Azkoyen Group will deal mainly with
Eastern Andalusia; while Valladolid, with David Castellanos
continuing as the manager, will improve the service
in the North East.
Azkoyen is the parent company of a total of nine companies
whose products are sold in 39 countries on five continents.
Its turnover in 1999 was more than 21,250 million pesetas

and concentrate particularly on the catering sector,
three years ago the Group began to produce and sell
coffees, and currently sells (monthly, on the domestic
market), more than 200,000 kilograms of it, mainly in
the catering sector.
In the first quarter of this financial year, the Azkoyen
Group opened a new coffee roaster, with a production
