In May Azkoyen Comercial, S.A. began selling its two new
coffee makers (Bravo and Viena) which it is confident,
according to the forecasts, will make it the leader in
the sector in Spain. The two models will be added to a
total of 16 different models, providing for all the needs
of the market.
It is an innovative product due to its design, which
stands out for the high quality of its components. "They
are carefully designed machines, very accessible and
genuinely competitive" says the head of the Azkoyen
Comercial department in Noáin, Javier Echarte.
"We are making these new coffee makers with the
aim of being the leaders in the sector, and in the Azkoyen
Group we have accepted that we will not be the leaders
until we can double the sales of the second biggest
company in the sector". "Because our range
is so wide and versatile, it adapts to every need. At
Azkoyen we use the latest technology to provide practical
solutions, with the best possible quality/price ratio".
The Bravo model (from one to three groups) offers the
widest range: ten different models, including the compact
machines with one or two groups. It is the medium/top
range and prices range between 245,000 and 575,000 pesetas.
As well as electronic dosing and automatic fault detection,
the new coffee makers allow external dose programming
and the possibility of operating manually if the electronic
systems fail.
The body of the "Viena" model (two to four
groups) is made of stainless steel and aluminium. The
price, depending on the number of groups and the specifications,
ranges from 440,000 to 825,000 pesetas.
In the coffee maker sector, Azkoyen continues to offer
its CA-360 model, which is its 'star' model. As well
as ensuring the consistency of the coffee, it is the
most time-saving machine (it operates by pressing a
button) and automatically monitors sales.
Other products
The innovation and development of new products continues
to be a constant in the Azkoyen Group, and the super-automatic
coffee grinders are the best example of a 'successful
product'. The programming of doses, grinding point and
service accounting mean that the Azkoyen grinders have
been accepted by all sorts of establishments.
Azkoyen completes its range for the catering sector
with its latest generation of automatic tobacco vending
machines, adapted to the new European coins, refrigerated
display shelves for pinchos, ice machines (28 to 95
kilograms of ice per day), dishwashers and sinks, cookers,
hotplates, bottle racks, short counters, counters, etc.
And coffee
The coffee roasting plant that Azkoyen opened in the
winter at its Noáin premises, near Pamplona airport,
is now at full production. Every day it supplies the
market with 18 varieties of coffee and is continuing
with its research agreements in this sector with the
University of Navarre.
All of its coffees have the corresponding certificates
of quality and uniformity. The packets have a one-day
valve which ensures that the coffee is preserved.
25 people at your service
Azkoyen's Navarre and La Rioja branch is one of the
28 branches Azkoyen Comercial has opened in Spain. 25
people work at the Pamplona premises (5,200 square metres)
and they coordinate eight vehicles for distributing
coffee, seven for service and technical assistance,
as well as the organization, selling and administration
of the Centre.
As well as distribution and technical assistance, the
branch's activities include the training room where
courses are run for customers in the catering sector.
The courses on coffee (characteristics and service)
will continue until the end of 2000 and so far more
than 250 employees have attended them.
