The owners and operators of vending and recreational machines
with Azkoyen Group selectors will be able to programme
them via the Internet, as via the Web they will have the
latest programming done by its subsidiary Azkoyen Medios
de Pago, S.A. at its Peralta plant.
This innovation based on the new TL 21 remote programmer
and the possibilities offered by the Internet for transmitting
data, will be officially presented to the sector during
the Torremolinos 2002 show that will begin on 4 April
at the Conference Centre in the city near Malaga. At
stand 25, the Azkoyen Group will hold small meetings
with its main clients who have already confirmed that
they are attending the show.
Operators will have unlimited access to the latest
programming done in the factory on possible fraud, new
countries joining the European Union with their corresponding
currencies or any new coins of different values that
may be minted.
Since it began more than 55 years ago, Azkoyen has
specialised and excelled in the research and development
of mechanisms for coin recognition, acceptance and payment.
Their coin mechanisms and payment systems, which are
sold in 42 countries, are known and recognised across
the five continents as symbols of quality and innovation.
Azkoyen Medios de Pago, S.A. currently supplies the
market with more than 30 families of payment mechanisms
and systems for game and vending machines, public telephones
and other applications such as Internet cafes, bowling
alleys and car parks. Its R&D&I department works
with more than ten world technological centres and universities.
During the 2001 financial year, the methods of payment
line of business represented 33.4% of total sales recorded
by the Azkoyen Group, which exceeded 178.8 million euros.
