Azkoyen USA machines certified by National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA)
- This certification is only granted according to the public health requirements in the United States.
- The coffee machine models marketed in the USA earned this certification.
The Azkoyen Group, a Spanish multinational technology firm with headquarters in Navarre specialized in the design, manufacturing and marketing of advanced technology solutions, has earned NAMA certification for the vending machine models it currently markets in the United States: Vitro S5, Vitale, Zen, Zintro and Zensia. The certification is based on the 2013 U.S. Food & Drug Administration Food Code.
All the hot beverage machines manufactured by the Azkoyen Group have been evaluated according to the construction standards and public health codes recommended by the United States Vending Industry and Health Council. To earn the NAMA certificate, the materials, design, construction and performance of the vending machines were analysed, taking into account environmental temperature studies, principles of sound engineering and research on test records and field work, among other aspects.
Participating in this evaluation program are manufacturers, rebuilders and suppliers of vending machine equipment, coffee machines and refrigerators, with the goal being that their products can demonstrate compliance with internationally recognized U.S. public health standards.
